The Department of Music is thrilled to welcome the Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet as artists in residence at UMBC on November 20 and 21. The residency will include concerts, masterclasses, and a lecture for the UMBC Community.

On Saturday, November 20 at 7 p.m. in Earl and Darielle Linehan Concert Hall, the Pedro Giraudo Tango Quartet will perform in concert, followed immediately by an 8:30 p.m. class on Argentine Tango.

The 8:30 p.m. class on Argentine Tango will be led by master tango dancers Aja Fenn and Masha Abapolnikova of Fábrica Tango. This workshop will accommodate both solo dancers and partners who live together. Participants will not be asked to dance with someone with whom they are not familiar. Soft-soled shoes or socks are mandatory for participation in this event.

Admission (includes both events): $20 general, $10 senior citizens (55+), and $5 for students. Please visit here to reserve tickets.
