Flight Among Shadows, a short film screening

A true story about the struggles of Iranian students in the U.S. and their visa journey. This acclaimed film has been featured in festivals in India, Australia, Mexico, and Greece. It is a story of resilience, hope, and the human connections that bind us.

This film is directed by Ghazal Mojtahedi, MFA Candidate, Intermedia + Digital Arts, UMBC; and Hashem Aliakbari, production manager


It is free and open to the public.

This event is organized in collaboration with Iranian Graduate Student Foundation (IGSF) at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). The screening is funded by the Dresher Center for the Humanities.
