CareerFit: The Warmup

This seminar encourages UMBC athletes to take an assertive role in their personal career development. Discussions take place regarding what organizations are looking for in graduates today, how to network and differentiate themselves, advice on the selection of electives, summer jobs and internships, as well as frank dialog about competition that student-athletes face in the job seeking process. Student-athletes are encouraged to get involved on campus and work toward establishing career-related goals just as they have established athletic-related goals their entire athletic career.
