Fall 2015 Internship/Research/Co-op Drop-in Registration Day
Location
Mathematics/Psychology : 212
Date & Time
September 28, 2015, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Description
Have you already obtained a great internship, co-op, or research position for this Fall, but have no idea how to get credit for it or have it added to your transcript?
Are you simply looking to have your hard work noted on your transcript for that all-important grad school or employment application?
Never fear - The Career Center is here to help!
Monday, September 28 from 11:00am - 2:00pm
Career Center, Math/Psych 212
All you have to do is drop in! During those hours, CC coordinators will be available to explain your credit options, help you get that notation onto your transcript and answer all of the questions you may have about your internship/research position.
What to bring: If you have documentation of your position (e.g., an offer letter, etc.), it is helpful, though not required, to have that with you. If your position was secured via UMBCworks, no documentation is needed.
Contact the Career Center with questions or if you need an appointment due to not being available on Monday: (410) 455-2216.
Students can also submit their positions online without an appointment. Simply follow the directions here.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
These drop-in hours are for placements only, not for resume reviews or students seeking internships. Students walking in to the Career Center during these hours looking to have their resumes reviewed/approved will be asked to make an appointment with a coordinator or come back to our regular drop-in hours, Monday-Friday, 2-4 pm.
Questions? Please email us at internships@umbc.edu.
