Did you know Carter Machinery is Caterpillar’s #1 electric power dealer in the world? That’s right - in the world! With more than 30 locations, Carter Machinery is the authorized Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic region. And while they may be known for their dozers, excavators, and loaders, they’re more than earthmoving equipment. From data centers to microgrids to emergency power, their generator sets, battery energy storage systems, mobile equipment chargers, and other power systems products power the world!
Students will have the opportunity to see real-world applications of electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering concepts – particularly as they relate to data centers, vendor factories, and jobsites across the US., participate in discussions with engineering leaders, and learn more about exciting career opportunities, such as Sales Engineer, Application Engineer, Commissioning Manager, and Project Manager.
