The CIA is a U.S. government agency that provides critical intelligence on global issues and foreign countries to support the president, the National Security Council, and other policymakers in making informed national security decisions.
The CIA's student programs, including internships and co-operative education opportunities, provide a unique chance to gain real-world experience while working alongside top experts in your field of study. Contribute to keeping our Nation safe while building a rewarding career within the Intelligence Community.
It is open to students pursuing majors in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, and Civil Engineering, as well as Architecture or Interior Design. The CIA is particularly interested in first-year students who can commit to a two-summer internship program, although second-year students will also be considered. This is a fantastic opportunity for students in these fields to explore rewarding career paths within the Intelligence Community and gain invaluable real-world experience.
