VOICE POP - Writing Workshop with Julián Delgado Lopera

As a part of their visit to UMBC for our Fall 2023 Humanities Forum, our inaugural speaker, Julián Delgado Lopera, will host a writing workshop for undergraduate and graduate students.

Everyone seems to love a “strong” voice, but what really makes language pop on the page? And, more importantly, how to give that voice form—how does a writer make it breathe as a story? Led by Julián Delgado Lopera, this short generative writing workshop will focus on the craft of voice.

Friday, September 22 at 10am in Room 216, Performing Arts and Humanities Building.
