The
UMBC Department of Education Research Seminar series kicks off the
2024-2025 academic year with a presentation by Professor Shannon Sauro.
Her talk reports on the findings of a
scoping review of research on fans of Korean popular media (e.g. K-pop,
K-dramas) to explore what fan practices they engage in to learn Korean
language and culture in the digital wilds.
All members of the
department, partners/collaborators, and students/faculty from other departments and institutions are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided by the department. Please RSVP by completing this form by 3 September:
