Description
Join the Dresher Center for the Humanities for a Faculty Book Publication Workshop.
Meet with editors from three academic presses (Duke University Press, University of North Carolina Press, and University of Michigan Press) to learn about options for book publishing and hear suggestions for faculty authors.
Time will be provided for small group discussion with the editors after the panel. A book proposal writing workshop will follow on Friday May 10.

Presenters:
- Elizabeth Ault, Senior Editor, Duke University Press. Areas of focus: African and Middle East Studies; Black and Latinx Studies; Trans Studies; Disability Studies; Sociology and Critical Studies of prisons and policing.
- Catherine Hodorowicz, Editor, University of North Carolina Press. Areas of focus: Literary nonfiction; and Food Studies and cooking.
- Haley Winkle, Associate Editor, University of Michigan Press. Areas of focus: Media Studies; Craft of Creative Writing; and Disability Studies.
