Dr. Randolph Ford, Visiting Assistant Professor, Classics, Skidmore College
In this lecture, Dr. Ford explores ethnic identity and political legitimacy in two of the most prominent historical works of the period, paying particular attention to the respective ethnographic traditions and their role in constructing notions of Self and Other.
