Zareen Taj (LLC Cohort 22) and her collaborator, Jay Simpson,
have produced Our Face Tells, a short documentary about the plight of Hazara women after
the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan last summer in their own voices.
Hosted
and funded by the Shriver Center of UMBC, this film premiere takes
place on the one year anniversary of the fall of Kabul and the
Afghan government in 2021.
Zareen will host a question and answer period afterwards.
